Prima hotel
Prima hotel met goed ontbijt. De kamer is prima maar miste wel een koelkast. Verder zit het hotel wel +/- 20 min buiten het centrum maar een tramhalte op 50 meter.

We felt really welcome by the lady at the reception Alina. She gave us all the info we needed and was very friendly. The hotel is next to the tramstop which is perfect to visit the city center. Breakfast was good, rooms were clean and the area was quite. We will come back for sure!

Zürich manifesteert zich op alle mogelijke manieren als de hoofdstad van Zwitserland. Mede dat maakt het een levendige, plezierige stad om in te verblijven, maar dat merk je dus ook in de hotelprijzen. Het is dan ook niet eenvoudig om een betaalbaar hotel te vinden, dat ook nog wat luxe en service biedt. Maar met het H Hotel is dat alsnog gelukt! De businesskamer die ik had, was enorm groot en heel comfortabel gesitueerd op de vijfde etage, vlakbij de sauna. Ik kon zo in de bijgeleverde badjas oversteken om na aan lange dag in Zürich te relaxen in de sauna. Daar had de bijzonder vriendelijke receptioniste me ook op gewezen bij de incheck: dat ze me speciaal een kamer op de hoogste verdieping met goed uitzicht en dichtbij de sauna gegeven had. Op die manier voel je je meteen eregast! Het ontbijt was het beste van alle hotels tijdens deze trip; hoewel ik fan ben van de Accorgroep, merk je wel een niveauverschil tussen Ibis/Mercure/Novotel enerzijds, en H anderzijds. Die in H geldt zeker ook voor aanbod en kwaliteit van de ontbijtproducten: er was zoveel en alles was zo lekker, dat je minstens twee uur moet uittrekken voor het ontbijt :-) Ik kan dit hotel aan iedereen aanbevelen die zijn torenhoge budget (dat heb je namelijk wel nodig als je naar Zwitserland gaat) niet alleen wil uitgeven aan overnachtingen, maar die toch van comfort wil genieten! Voor de OV-reizigers onder ons: tram 2 (naar het centrum) stopt vlak voor de deur van het hotel en rijdt heel erg vaak.

Excellent check-in service provided, friendly staff speaks multiple languages and are willing to assist you with anything you may need on your stay. Only area of concern was the inability to adjust heating and air conditioning although there was a thermostat that allowed you to do so. Not dure if it was working properly, however, conditions were not uncomfortable so I did not raise the issue with staff. Parking garage also available in easily allowed for parking my mid-size SUV. Bottom line, it’s a great place to stay, with friendly staff, convenient parking, at a reasonable price right next to tram stop, restaurants, and grocery store.

Very modern hotel with all the expected facilities. Breakfast is good but expensive- booking the night before will save you 5CHF per person. The room was good but not exceptional but met all our requirements. The hotel is located an easy 15 minute tram ride from the centre of Zurich (No 2 tram). Overall a comfortable three night stay.

Hotel muito bom, moderno e relativamente novo. Atendimento excelente ! Pudemos ocupar nosso quarto duas horas antes do check in ! Quarto confortável; acomodou bem duas pessoas. Café da manhã completo. Possui estacionamento com tarifa diária, no subsolo. Para quem está de carro é ótimo! Está distante do centro histórico mas tem transporte público na porta. A região não é turística e está próxima a uma área industrial/comercial. Ponto a melhorar : acesso a internet.

We were welcomed and checked in by very friendly front desk agent. The hotel is located right next to tram for easy access to downtown Zurich. They have all you can eat breakfast that you can pay for. Breakfast was good with lots of options for food and drinks. However, we had to ask the staff for silverware, then cups. Our room was overall clean when we entered. However, the stool/bench had some stains on it. Our main issue was with the non-consistency of our room cleaning. -On the first day, only the bed was made and the trash replaced. The towels were not exchanged. The hotel provided shower cap that I used was thrown out, but not replaced. -On the second day, we noticed the body wash in the shower was getting low and figured they would replace it. The body wash is connected to the shower wall. When we returned, the garbages were left with no bag. -On the day of our check out, we realized the body wash had not been replaced and we had a limited amount of body wash. Given the size of the bottle, we don’t believe it was filled before we arrived.

Hotel was clean and had good amenities. It is not in city center but the tram is just outside and it is a quick ride to downtown. Overall, we are happy with our stay.

There was black mold in our room. We reported it as we were leaving in hopes they would have someone clean it or possibly move us to a different room. We returned hours later to find nothing was cleaned. The front desk help wasn’t concerned and a bit snobby about it. It also didn’t seem to be located in a good area. It’s not in the city center as stated and takes two trams to get there. There was a man asking for money when we arrived back to the hotel and he then walked into the hotel. Didn’t seem safe especially for Switzerland. I would not stay here again.
