Romantische hotels in Zwarte Woud

'Zeer aangenaam verblijf en erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Eerder pover ontbijtbuffet maar hetgeen er was was wel ok. Regendouche in het type kamer dat ik had is echt niet gemaakt voor grote mensen, en aangezien die midden in nauwe “gordijn-halfcirkel” hing in het bad - fijn massagebad btw - was het onmogelijk m’n haar rechtopstaand in bad uit te spoelen. De collega’s hadden een aparte douche en die was blijkbaar wel gewoon ok dus ik zal net pech gehad hebben :) Dat is wel echt het...

'Fine stay in a junior suite. The remark at checkin that an upgrade we were entitled to was not available and then was compensated with a free drink was a kind of cheapo. Some, minor, things we missed we will comuncate with the hotel other then there was no climate control in the room. The heath was on or off, Regulating the temperature by opening or closing the windows while heavy roadworks are going on is no picnic. But then again it was compensated with another free drink😉. Luckily not all...

'We enjoyed our stay at the Waldhotel which is set in the woods on the outskirts of Stuttgart. Public transportation was a 5 minute walk away and took about 15 minutes to travel downtown. The breakfast was very good, although pricey if not in your room rate. The menu for lunch and drinks is on the expensive side compared to other places we stayed in Germany. Our room was lovely, it was just very warm while in Stuttgart and the air conditioning is not at a standard you'd expect.'

'The room was severely outdated and not what is shown on the pictures provided by the hotel. It seems to be there’s more care given to the looks of the hallways and lobby then there was to the room. Cleaning wasn’t thorough either as there was still an apple lying around from the previous guest that was turning brown. The breakfast was mixed, some things like the fruit and orange juice were fresh while the bread , pancakes and croissants were stale. The staff however was very friendly. '
