'Het was er bloedheet in de slaapkamer terwijl de CV uitstond ((waarschijnlijk door vloerverwarming) zelfs met de ramen open was het snachts soms gewoon niet te harden. Ook in de centrale ruimtes stonden de ramen non stop open omdat het anders te warm werd (in oktober). Ook was het heel erg gehorig. Iedere voetstap op de gang kreeg je mee. '

'All the horrors of the film the Shining but without the grandeur of that hotel in the movie. We booked a 4 person (family room) and 4 beds is what we got. But they had put these beds in a 2 persons standard room. So it was absolutly crapped and packed with no space for anything else. One of the beds was a sleeping sofa with a uncomfartable matrass.Our view was on a big LED billboard just 10 metres form our window that flickered all night long through the curtains. We had a terrible noise from 10...

'The outside looked scruffy and tired abd the lobby area rather dark and dated. Once in the corridor leading to our room on the third floor it was tidy bright and newly decorated. The twin bed room was large clean and comfortable. A good night's sleep. '

'Kamerdeur sluit niet, met een duwtje gaat ze vanzelf open, zelfs als ze ‘op slot’ is. Een lamp werkte niet, geen handzeep,…alles lijkt nogal afgemeten. We konden niet in de kamer vòor het normale incheckuur, nochtans was het hotel quasi leeg. Mooi gebouw, maar spijtig van de smakeloze architecturale ingrepen, gecombineerd met goedkoop nieuw meubilair (ontbijtruimte). Voor een prikje kan je tegenwoordig authentiek Engels meubilair vinden, dat perfect in een dergelijk mooi gebouw zou passen en...

'It was painful to check in. The other guest I met also had problems checking in. The address directs you to the back of the building. Make sure you have time to do the check-in properly and make sure you have all details about the apartment before coming here. The phone number they gave on hotels.com is not in existance. But they had put these beds in a 2 persons standard room. So it was absolutly crapped and packed with no space for anything else. One of the beds was a sleeping sofa with a uncomfartable matrass.Our view was on a big LED billboard just 10 metres form our window that flickered all night long through the curtains. We had a terrible noise from 10 electricity generators of the welcomebreak facilty next doors that were placed below our window. We had to let the window open as there is no airconditioning in the room and it was stuffy and very warm. Terrible night out of a horror movie. Very friendly staff that moved us to another room the next day. But it was too late and the room was as little as the previous one. Less noise from outside though. Can't recommend this!"
