'We booked 2 rooms, one double and one single room. The double room was fair, although the sheets had some small dark spots (blood?) and the matrasses were very uncomfortable. After complaining, we got cover matrasses the next day. The single room experience however, was a disaster. 'Ive stayed at countless hotels for work and nothing compares to here. From start to finish there was not one issue, got upgraded to a suite, stunning room immaculate views amazing location, breakfast was incredible and the staff had character and charm. I'll happily book this place when I next come to rethymno. What I will say though is if you get a room with a hot tub turn it on before you leave for dinner it takes about 3 hours to heat up. me and my partner left it till really late and didn't...

'Summer Dream was the best hotel we could ask for. It was extremely modern, great view, and the town of Rethymno has a wonderful downtown area. If you go, I recommend Achinos, I believe it is spelled. The best food we had in Greece. Summer dream is also located next to many markets including SKYNKA, which is walking distance. I would absolutely recommend staying here. It was the best part of our trip in Crete. '

'While the property is new and beautiful it is not those esthetics that stand out for me. After flying for hours from from Rome, the nightmare of airport security and arriving in your new destination in the dark the brightest star was the most welcoming lady at the front desk - Theoploti. I had just finished a jam packed tour of Italy with massive crowds at places like the Roman Forum and The Colosseum. To arrive to such solitude and quiet was a joy like no other. Rethynmo centre is not far from hotel, you can find bus outside hotel (Euro 1.20). You can find excursion/travel agency outside hotel (buses will pick you from outside of hotel) if you don't have car.'
