'We are locals and this was the perfect getaway to our favorite beach in the area. Easily walkable to restaurants, the beach, and one of our top hikes (Matt Davis). Perfect for a family of 4. 'The unit itself was very nice, well appointed and in a great location. It had everything we needed to cook and bake. The fresh loaf of local bread was a really nice surprise. At the time of our stay (May 2024) the staircase down to the unit was under construction. The only way down to the unit was a dangerous trail with wobbly steps. This was a challenging climb in and out, but with luggage, it was a nightmare.'

For our stay it was very functional. The kitchen is equipped with full sized appliances and a dishwasher. 'It was a pleasure to stay here, thanks Swami! The furnishings are quite sparse but all nicely comfortable and functional, with very good facilities all around in the bathroom and the well-equipped kitchen. It is relaxingly quiet and private, and in a pleasant area. Great location for a visiting academic (as I am), with an easy walk to the university campus, lots of restaurants of all kinds nearby, and BART station. I’d be very happy to stay again on future visits!'

"Uitstekend hotel. Locatie is zeer centraal. Met als traktatie de kabeltram voor de deur. Kamer was klein maar functioneel en ook schoon. Leuke bekomstigheid in de lobby was gratis thee, koffie, water, koekjes, appels en ‘s avonds zelfs popcorn. Zelf 1 dag de auto geparkeerd. Dit ging via het hotel en was op loopafstand (valet-parking). Hotel is zeker een aanrader. "
