'My family came down to Lake Lanier with our bass boat for a week of fishing. We had a fun time catching spotted bass all week. We plugged extension cords (150’ reaches, but 200’ would give you some slack) into the gazebo to charge the trolling motor batteries every night. The driveway is narrow and steep, but we got our trailer down there to park it by the house for the week. Other than fishing, there was so much neat stuff around. The Georgia Aquarium was worth battling the traffic to Atlanta....

There was plenty of room for all 6 of us to have individual as well as family time. Location is great! 'We’ve made several trips to this area but this was our first stay close to downtown. It was so nice to be able to walk to restaurants and shops. And the bonus was, we happened to be there for the Bear on the Square festival! It was sooo nice to not have to struggle for parking!!
