'we felt very welcome at Pam's ranch. First a tour of the house, then to our room. We immediately felt at home and enjoyed a nice cigar on the porch. We slept wonderfully in the bunk beds between the western saddles. Luckily with an electric blanket, it was chilling this night. Bathroom completely in style. The picture complete. Delicious breakfast with stories about the ranchbrand…great. Also nice to meet other guests in the main house. We met the horses and rode the ranch trick in the fields!...

'We recently stayed at Sage Cottage for a night while traveling home, and it was a wonderful experience. This is probably the most beautiful place on earth. The setting is incredibly quiet and peaceful, and it was designed as a wedding venue, which adds to its charm. We stayed on a Wednesday night and had the entire house to ourselves. 'We found the location convenient as it's on the main road through Mentone. Both the bedroom and bathroom were clean, as was the hot tub. The owner was also responsive and helpful. And having breakfast right down the hall every morning was a nice plus! Worth noting that, while the place is dog friendly, the yard is not fenced in and, again, is right on the main road. 'The property was just as described on VRBO, very clean and great outside spaces. Great location. We loved sitting in the screened in porch in the mornings and evenings. The only suggestions we would have is that it would be helpful to have a table by the hot tub to sit your drinks or other belongings on. In each of the bedrooms bigger lamps would helpful as well as luggage racks and a larger bedside table in the smaller bedroom.'
