'Cottage is rustic but clean in an amazing location. The view out to the boats moored in the water is one of a kind. We cooked all our meals in the kitchen and it worked well for us -- good sharp knives was a plus. Being able to walk down the dock and get the freshest lobsters possible for an excellent price was the highlight of our stay. 'Map quest and google take you on unnecessary routes into the cabin. We got there in the dark and after being instructed to drive into the woods on dirt road we came into someones back yard. Noticed one small sign nailed to post pointing in "assumed" direction to go. No lights, very dark and even when we found the house no lights were left on or hey how about a solar night light over the door?. Need a welcome book too listing what's what and where inside items are located'

The only advice I would give the management company is to leave directions to the transfer station or better yet take the trash for your guests at the end of their stay. Putting smelly trash in our car wasn’t great. All in all though, it was a great place for a family with dogs!'

'This was a beautiful place to stay and had more parking than we expected. The only hiccups we had was that the check in code we were given was one digit off from what it actually was so we had a little trouble getting into the house. Also there is an outlet that was uncovered in the bedroom and we had a child touch it. 'This property is centrally located in Rockland and within walking distance to the harbor, dining, coffee, shopping, and more. We had a great harbor view from our room. And while Trade Winds is old and needs work (smells old and we had to air out our room every time we came back to it.), it's in the ideal location and we would definitely stay there again; just wish the price was a little less expensive.
