'My husband and I enjoyed a delightful one-night stay at this cute cottage nestled in a quiet residential neighborhood. Despite the stormy weather that kept us indoors longer than planned, the atmosphere inside was so cozy that we had a wonderfully relaxing time. The rooms were impeccably clean, and Jessica, the host, was highly responsive to our messages, ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience throughout our stay. The only thing I wish was different about our stay is as other people noted, you need to bring lots of extra water to use for drinking/washing up because of the non-potable water in the room. Also, and I recognize this is not really the hosts' fault, but we did not realize just how remote the property was and we didn't...

'We thoroughly enjoyed Christina’s place. Conveniently located to beach & pier. Lots of windows for fresh, ambient air. Well appointed kitchen. Nice outside deck with foliage; charcoal barbecue. Friendly St. Barnard in adjacent residence (I.e. Bruce); and cool, hip hostess.'

'Bed was comfort!ble. It was a little hard to find but once we did everyt&ing was smooth sailing. Bringing our wash cloths and hand towels was good.'

'We had a great time, we will stay again. Tina at the front desk very informed and helpful. Hotel is very close to the downtown area and very walkable. You will need to stay in communication for check-in to ensure they are available you help you. They do have a after hours lock box to be able to access your room. We did not need but it was communicated to us the morning of check-in.'

'I loved the location and house. It was exactly ss described. I did the local history museum, the Wharf, and the Monterey Bay Natural Marine Sanctuary. Ate dinner at the Crows Nest 5 min away. Great view, okay food. So much I didn't see though. I only wish I could stay longer.'

'The couch is not very comfortable for sleeping. The internet was down for our three day stay. Cell service is minimal at best. All that aside, the place is beautiful and the river is a nice teat. Ride the steam train while you are there.'
