'The hotel was really nice, especially the outside seating, which felt like an escape from the city. However, my room was just okay. The bed was comfortable, but the carpet had significant stains, and the shower pressure was low with difficult temperature control. If booking through Expedia, be aware of hidden fees added by the hotel, which you'll only learn about at checkout. I ended up with an extra $210 on my bill. Parking costs $40 per night, and Zags' $20 parking voucher means you'll still...

'At arrival I was welcomed by a nice gentlemen who told me the thing I needed tot know. The bedroom In booked was about $80 a night which is quite cheap for a location like this. The room had a huge bed, huge tv with like 200 channel (also HBO), big fridge and airco. Plugs (electricity) were fine. Daily housekeeping even if didn't ask tot.A good thing- they kept my room clean every day with new towels and a made up bed.If I'm back in Portland, I would stay here again.'

'Location made it easy to go into the city on foot. Room was basic, almost no facilities ( no fridge, no microwave, no comfortable chair), internet connection was poor. Parking included in room price, very good.'

'We liked the market place on site and the food options. It was a calm laid back environment without a lot of kids around. It’s not the Hilton or Ritz. If your looking for fancy this isn’t your spot. The fan in our the bathroom didn’t work and we had a moldy/musty smell just as you walked in. The AC was great and kept the room super cool. Overall it was a great stay. We will be back!'

'Beautiful Japanese onsen ryokan themed hotel with wonderful decor and well kept soaking pool. Loved having the en suite shower/soaking tub chamber separately divided from the rest of the bathroom, letting you feel like you’re continuing the onsen experience inside the privacy of your own room!'
