'Our stay was as we wanted quite and believe it or not for the location secluded! The ower was Super friendly and brought a great breakfast to us each morning and told us each ingredient and the orgin of. She is very knowledgeable of the area as she has been there for many years. The. strip was very close with nice shopping and restaurants to choose from.'

Fairly well kept. The furniture is cheap and unattractive. The mattress was ok, just very loud when my husband would turn over. There were bugs...mind you mostly dead, but still bugs. 'Loved the fuzzy rug in the bedroom. Place was full of livable charm and unique decor that made it feel personal and taken care of. Very quiet and serene space to spend a few days. Would've stayed longer if schedule and budget permitted. Only improvements would've been more workable kitchen and drying racks/hooks for towels in the bathroom. 'This was a lovely property that was easy to access and very comfortable. Just what I needed for my business trip for a few days. I’d happily stay here again when visiting Austin for any reason. I loved that I could park in a safe place for free that was very close to my room. Very convenient!'

It was only a short walk to great music and food.. Neighborhood is a little sketchy feeling with a scrap yard next door. But I never felt unsafe. Off street parking available which was super. 'My wife and I stayed at this property for the CapTex triathlon with our two older dogs. The house is a guest house behind the main property and is a really beautiful two story spot. The property owners were the nicest people and shared with us recommendations of places to go check out for food and were great to chat with while taking the dogs in the backyard. The location is really easy to get to anything off Lamar as well as Congress and is in a quiet neighborhood that we felt very comfortable...

'Kuby's was a wonderful place for us to stay while visiting Shiner, TX! The Casita was perfectly located so a short walk to Spoetzl Brewery and the Palace Saloon (highly recommend Kuby's, Spoetzl and Palace Saloon to anyone visiting Shiner, TX!) :)'

'This place suited us perfectly. Very considerately and thoughfully prepared. A little enclave with friendly, welcoming neighbours. Lots of books on a variety of interesting subjects and the house itself has an intersting history. Host was happy to advise about local activities and was courteous and charming.'

'The place is in a great part of Austin and is a walkable distance to parks and grocery stores. It had everything I needed with lots of kitchen utensils. The place was clean, bed was comfortable, and the shower had good water pressure. While there is some noise as it’s close to both a highway and train tracks, I work from home and had no issues. The host is super nice and her dog and cats were also friendly. Overall it was one of the best stays I’ve had!'
