'We loved staying here, it was serene and quiet which was just what we were looking for. We went to the tasting room one of the days which was really fun and we were able to bring our small dog with us for the tasting. We spent the evenings making dinner, playing board games on the back porch of the farmhouse, and watching the sunset while our chihuahua got to live his dreams of farm life for a couple days. 'We stayed one night while passing through the area but I wish it were longer. This place has gorgeous views from every window. Quiet and secluded but easy to find with fantastic instructions from the hosts. The space is so clean and comfortable with everything you need. It was the perfect layout for us to make own meals and our toddler to have his own futon bed to sleep. Can't recommend this place enough.'

'Rustig gelegen in Paonia, vlakbij Black Canyon en de Elk Loop. Het huis is in oude stijl ingericht en er is alleen AC in de slaapkamers. Het gasfornuis is uit 1940 , maar met de beschrijving erbij prima te gebruiken, ook de vaatwasser is gedateerd, maar werkt nog goed. De bedden zijn van goede kwaliteit. "Kamer is luxe voor een motel: wij hadden 2 tv’s en 2 airco’s. Badkamer was wel heel erg krap. Het is recentelijk gerenoveerd waardoor alles erg netjes is. Ook goed schoon. Ontbijt is wel wat mager, wij hebben zelf maar wat anders gegeten. Handige ligging voor de Black Canyon. "
