'The homeowner was very helpful at every step. The house is exactly what you think of when you think "lake house." The furniture was inviting and the house well decorated. The beds were also very comfortable. Kayaks, canoes, paddle board. It had it all!'

'We stayed here while attending the New Manna Youth Rally at Ridgecrest. We found this be the perfect retreat for a wonderfully spiritual weekend. The home was secluded, peaceful, and free of the world's distractions. The home is well maintained, clean and fully accommodated with anything you could need. So much better than a Hotel. If there was a downside it would be the driveway leading up to the home. But that was a small price to pay for the wonderful stay we had. '

'We enjoyed our stay tremendously. The River’s Edge Cabin had a lovely view on both sides of the property. It was in close proximity to the parkway, waterfalls, etc. Burnsville, Spruce Pines, and Micaville were all fun places to venture. The river in the backyard can’t be beat. The only downside is the road is super close and people go extremely fast on highway 80 on that particular stretch. I’d recommend this property for folks with older children only. 'Such a nice place, even better than the pics. Love the cabin theme decor, beautifully decorated. Lots of room inside and out for a family to spread out. Thanks for keeping the kitchen well-stocked and leaving condiments/spices and kitchen supplies; we enjoyed cooking and preparing multiple meals. We were lucky to have perfect weather and spent most of our time outdoors enjoying the mountain views and fire pit. We weren't expecting such nice weather; I wish we had brought cornhole/outdoor games....

We spent most of our time lounging on the enclosed patio enjoying the fire table. The property has river access. Enjoyed listening to the birds in the morning. Lots to do nearby. Check out the Linville Caverns and Linville falls nearby. Awesome hiking. Host is extremely helpful and communicates promptly. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Will be back!'
