'A very nice stay in this upstairs apartment (know that the stairs are steep, but this was not an issue for us). Our host Kathryn made sure that all of our needs were met, and we really appreciated all of the extra amenities, including books to read and board games to play. We recommend it highly !'

'If you are looking for a clean, inexpensive place to stay for a night, this is a hdden gem. Right on the highway into Newcastle, close to Pittsburgh, the room we had was clean and, unlike many older motels, had no musty smell. We thought the highway noise might be an issue, but it wasnt. The air/heat fan was a bit noisy, but was effective and was white noise overnight. The beds were firm but ok, good pillows. 'Room served the purpose, very old hotel with not many upgrades. We were only there to sleep and met our needs, was visiting family and selected to save a few bucks on a less expensive room. Parking was horrible as others parked in the spot designated for your room.'
