'The best part of the location is that the entire property is in it's natural state. The retreat blends in with the surrounding landscape. Why anyone would cut down the trees, fill in the swamp land to build a seawall, then build a giant house and have a yard to mow is beyond me. Kudos to the owner for respecting what makes the place a beautiful place to stay.'

'We enjoyed a memorable experience! The host Debbie was incredible in terms of attentiveness, flexibility and overall hospitality! As tournament anglers, we arrived at the property to find a pole barn style parking location for all 4 of our boats with power and water. The log cabin has a great full kitchen with an awesome bar filled with seating and an awesome den and dining room. The bedrooms were top notch! I highly recommend this property and this will be our Panacea "Go-To" place to stay!...

'Amazing stay. This is the perfect spot for peace and fishing. Had an amazing stay. Host stay on site very convenient if anything is needed. The only thing if I could change is it’s a bit dated with decor etc.. but if you’re looking for a place to fish and take a break from city life. This is it!'

'The beach house is well appointed and maintained. Everything one would need for a stay is already there (minus the food, of course). The rooms were just as shown in the pictures, clean and well organized. We enjoyed fishing off the beach; although no one swam in the water due to the murky color. 'We absolutely loved our stay here. The entire family was able to spread out and get comfortable (you could get lost in the couch). The kitchen and bathrooms were spotless and almost luxurious. Additionally there was a nice little welcome basket when we arrived. Would have loved to have used the fit put out back but wasn’t there long enough. Unfortunately, my daughter just graduated and I won’t be coming back to Tallahassee. If I did, I would stay here when with my family or a large group.'

'Second time staying here and I'll book here from now on. Perfect in all ways but for it is 35 minutes from FSU which is both a good thing and a bad thing. Clean, in a tranquil area, right next to the river, nicely decorated, and the owner has thought of everything. It was my son's graduation, and she left goodies and a balloon and graduation cup.
