'I love historic older buildings! The suite we paid for was more spacious than the photos showed. There were a few things about the cleanliness of the room like there was toothpaste on the wall and mirror from previous guests and also what looked like rubber glue. Also previous guests left sticky pancake syrup on one of the chairs when I sat down. Warm water got it right out of the chair with no staining but my pants were an issue. 'This is hands down my wife and my "go-to" hotel in Portland. We live in Portland, have stayed there well over 4 times. We ABSOLUTELY Love the Suite and it is worth the money. We love the vintage look and feel and the beds are extremely comfortable which is important because my wife has severe chronic back pain. 'My family and I enjoyed the hotel. The kids said the pool was a bit chilly but still fun. The only complaint we had was that the food we got delivered from room service was not that good. 'At arrival I was welcomed by a nice gentlemen who told me the thing I needed tot know. The bedroom In booked was about $80 a night which is quite cheap for a location like this. The room had a huge bed, huge tv with like 200 channel (also HBO), big fridge and airco. Plugs (electricity) were fine. Daily housekeeping even if didn't ask tot.A good thing- they kept my room clean every day with new towels and a made up bed.If I'm back in Portland, I would stay here again.'
