'My wife and I spent 6 days here - very tastefully decorated and well-stocked, spacious 1 BR unit. Lots of natural light and beautiful views of the lake behind the house. Unit is a fully remodeled 2nd floor of a house with private entrance. Great neighborhood, quiet, friendly neighbors and only a 5 minute walk to the beach. Great stay!'

'I was impressed by the size of the property and especially by the well-equipped kitchen. Each cabinet and drawer had a label on it so you'd know its contents. Providing ground coffee was a nice touch. The bed in the master bedroom was super comfortable. I didn't use the other bedroom. I felt very safe and just outside your door are shops and restaurants and nice streets for walking. All in all a great stay!'

'Checkin was easy and painless, the cabin itself is quiet and very relaxing. It had a full kitchen and we were able to prepare groceries there without issue. The road to get in/out seemed daunting, but our two wheel drive rental car made it fine even during intense rain. Michael was a great host and I would absolutely stay here again!'

'The location was perfect and so close to everything. The owner was easy to communicate with and kind. Pros- working tv with cable, hot tub was hot and clean, plates were nice and plentiful, beds were incredibly comfortable from the mattress to the sheets, couch was comfy. Cons- the trash in the kitchen was completely full when we arrived(we had to take it out). the bath tub in the master bedroom was dirty with hair in the tub from the person before us. The dryer in the outdoor laundry room was...

'This tiny cottage is great for one person, or a couple craving lots of togetherness. Nice, quiet, safe neighborhood too. No bells and whistles here, no party atmosphere, just gentle beauty, peace and calm.'

'We had a wonderful time. The unit is clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The photos are a little generous in terms of the space. There are some low ceilings and the layout is a little different than how the photos present, but you won't be disappointed. It's a great spot.'

'Cute one bedroom place. Location was excellent. Since it was back from the street, it was quiet. It was nice to have an enclosed backyard given we had dogs. The yard was not well tended. They did have a Weber BBQ but the charcoal holder was unusable and needed replacement. Overall, the place was clean and had a great location. We would return.'

'We loved the space - the owners definitely made the most out of a very small space. The apartment is beautiful, well stocked with everything you need for a stay, and right by the beach. The only issue we had was that it was a little crowded - and bathrooms were tiny. Might be difficult for someone tall or wide to navigate.'

'I come to Capitola often and this was my first stay here The apartment is so cozy and tucked away a couple blocks off the main streets so relatively quiet. The small kitchenette was well appointed for a short stay and had all the essentials. Foot traffic in the upstairs unit is quite loud (primarily due to hardwood floors) but I was otherwise to have respectful neighbors in regards to additional noise. Overall a very cute comfortable place to stay for an adult weekend getaway.'

'I loved the location and house. It was exactly ss described. I did the local history museum, the Wharf, and the Monterey Bay Natural Marine Sanctuary. Ate dinner at the Crows Nest 5 min away. Great view, okay food. So much I didn't see though. I only wish I could stay longer.'
