'Situated in a beautiful garden this is a hidden gem. Furnishing is a bit worn and old fashioned button lots of ambiance. Waking up with a view on te sun rising over te ocean is super!
A healthy breakfast is delivered tot your room. It was too cool to have It on the terrace but with the french door open It was still a very good start of the day! '

'I’ve stayed at the Seaway Inn off and on for more than 30 years. It’s a beautiful, updated smaller property that is near the Santa Cruz Pier and Boardwalk. It’s had different owners over the years and has been updated.
The beds, and pillows are very comfortable. The rooms are spacious, and very quiet. You don’t really hear the street noise but can hear the waves from the ocean. Our king room offered a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee.
The staff are friendly, helpful, and accommodating....

'Over all the staff were helpful and were really nice. The room was nice until I took my shoes off for the shower and it was dirty. When I took a shower, turned on the water it was warm and at one point it went cold. The shower head was wonky, It was white and cheap looking and was spraying to the right which I couldn’t turn to the middle where I stood.'

'Beautiful Beach front property steps from the Santa Cruz Boardwalk and the Wharf! Rooms were exceptionally clean and room was beach front with a balcony. At night there were lounge chairs and firepits to relax at. We spent 2 nights and just hearing the waves hitting the beach was awesome! Great place to relax, rewind, or even head to the boardwalk for fun for adults and kids! Would recommend adults time only or familys with kids.'

'Excellent location - walk to restaurants in DT and to the beach (Wharf and Boardwalk). Helpful staff when present - they leave for the day at 4:30 and when we left at 8am the reception person was not there yet so the reception desk hours are very limited but very nice when they are there. Parking was not good - they have reserved parking spots in a lot on the corner of the block the inn is on but the spots are compact spots, so when gusts have mini vans and trucks, not all the spots are usable...
