'This is a very old building and we really loved the location. Everything we wanted to do was very walkable. The property is having some repairs done to the stairs up to the second floor which was good to see. The cleanliness of the tile and fixtures in the bath could use a bit more tlc. "When checking in we felt not so welcome, We were a bit early and we understand that the room is not free yet, but the lady at the counter did not even offer to store the luggage. The rooms are okay, be aware there is no elevator. There was a small gym and a pool. Breakfast was basic, but ok. We choose this location, as we wanted to visit the Boone Hall plantation."
