'I cannot express how happy I was to find this beautiful place! We stayed in the Drunken Sailor cottage and it felt like home. Owner thinks of lots of little details to make you feel welcome. Perfect location, very kind yet professional staff, welcomed us immediately. Gave great directions for a super easy checkin. I didn’t want to leave. I can’t wait to make this my “home” next time I visit Folly Beach! Thank you all!'

'We had corner room by the kitchen and elevator.. it was very plain and small. My sister had corner room to the left as you entered the house. It was very roomy and decorated so beautifully! We both paid same price .. I felt we didn’t have equality in rooms.. !! I found the breakfast to be very good and the afternoon cheese and wine to be very nice as well as the goodies and drinks provided in our rooms. Staff was awesome!'

'Very nice room and en suite. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Appreciate the coffee, wine, and water provided. Ask if your room is upstairs or downstairs if the spiral staircase would be a problem for you. The street traffic is a little noisy but didn’t really bother me. '

'The carriage house is the perfect place for two in Charleston! Would highly recommend. Walk, uber to your choice of fine dining and historical experiences. There is a restaurant a block away-Berkelys, will not disappoint! Would definitely do a return trip.'

'The property was as described and easily walkable to restaurants as well as King street and the citadel. Very tall people might want to skip this one as it in the basement of an older home and the ceiling is quite low in the shower.'

'Brought three kids down to visit our oldest at the college of Charleston wanted some space to lounge out other then a hotel but didn’t want to spend our whole budget on lodging! Quick 10 minute drive to downtown. Space Bigger then pictures. Neighborhood looks a little sketch but everyone was nice and we felt safe! Nice to have parking. You can tell they are really working on improving the area. Brewery’s in North Charleston only 5 minutes away! Enjoyed our stay !'

'We had such an amazing time at this property, the photos of the house are exactly as pictured. The pool & beach views are incredible and the home is clean, with a ton of space for a friends or couple weekend or a family trip. We did not want to leave!!! However the only reason for the low rating is the rental company associated with this property was beyond rude and difficult. I booked this house for my bachelorette weekend, I am 32 years old with friends (ages 32-38) most that are pregnant or...
