'We really enjoyed Sylvia and Larry's cabin located at the scenic North Fork of the Smith River. The cabin was very comfortable and relaxing. The shaded babbling brook with chairs and a hammock were great spots to rest or read next to the cabin. The owners have a house on the property (a private in-holding within the Smith River National Recreation Area) but we still felt like we had a lot of privacy. They were friendly and helpful hosts. 'This was a wonderful house for our large family to stay in while we visited the Brookings area. 4 bedroom, 2 bath with a bonus upstairs family room allowed each person space. The home is still proudly displaying the original decor, but is clean and quaint. Lots of amenities for the guests - high chair, easy access laundry, full pantry of cooking utensils and dishes for 12 or more, large fridge. We will stay again if given the chance!'
