'This was a great home base, walkable to the Harbour with lots of amenities. The only unfortunate thing was the traffic. The bedroom is right above 101 and you hear braking and accelerating cars all night long. The owner does everything he can to minimise the noise with earplugs and a white noise machine, but we weren’t able to sleep much. If noise doesn’t bother you, this is a great find, definitely worth the price.'

'We only stayed one night. The condo was very cute, clean, and well-maintained. Bigger than we expected too! The only drawbacks were the condo was on a busy street, and parking was on the street or in an open dirt lot. We were a little concerned with security/break-ins since we had some stuff stored in our car from our roadtrip and there were people out on the street late at night (I’m guessing homeless). Turned out fine though.'

'We had a nice stay at this condo for 4 nights. Perfect size for our family of 4. (2 adults, kids aged 17 and 19). Very pleasant neighbors. Fully stocked kitchen and SUPER COMFY beds and bedding. We were thankful for the garage, it was perfect for storing our bikes. Just a note about the stairs that you must climb to the main living area of the condo…was fine for us but may not be suitable for everyone. We had a small issue with TV remotes (batteries dead) but manager rushed some right over....

'We were only there for a brief overnight but the unit was so comfortable I wished we were staying longer! We got dinner to go from the restaurant downstairs and enjoyed it along with an evening breeze at the dining table. The bed was very comfortable. The unit was very clean and I appreciated that we didn't have to do anything but leave in the morning. No need to strip bed, take out garbage etc. I would definitely reccomend this property and would stay again if we find ourselves back in Crescent...

'We really enjoyed Sylvia and Larry's cabin located at the scenic North Fork of the Smith River. The cabin was very comfortable and relaxing. The shaded babbling brook with chairs and a hammock were great spots to rest or read next to the cabin. The owners have a house on the property (a private in-holding within the Smith River National Recreation Area) but we still felt like we had a lot of privacy. They were friendly and helpful hosts. 'We loved the cabin and quiet area. Beautiful view and in a great location. Short drive to Crescent City or Brookings.'

'This was a wonderful house for our large family to stay in while we visited the Brookings area. 4 bedroom, 2 bath with a bonus upstairs family room allowed each person space. The home is still proudly displaying the original decor, but is clean and quaint. Lots of amenities for the guests - high chair, easy access laundry, full pantry of cooking utensils and dishes for 12 or more, large fridge. We will stay again if given the chance!'
