'The property is in a nice location. It is very close to the beach for great views, and low tide tidal pool exploration. It is also in a convenient proximity to the Redwood forests. We were able to explore the forest as close as 20 minues away, and alo went further along the beautiful highway 101 south for hours of amazing Redwood exploration. We had text and phone contact before the stay with the owners, and they were very nice and helpful with their suggestions for places to see, and what to...

'First off, thank you for welcoming us! The house was cozy and in a great location, and came with lots of little extras that made it more relaxing. The backyard was great, especially if you have pets or little kids. The park is directly across the street which is also very convenient. 'You really need to up date atleast couches and kitchen table chairs ... i could not sit on those couches they sunk in not good for older people in thier 50s .. kitchen table chairs where so short even 6 ft people looked like they needed something under them. You need more bigger bowls . You allow up to 10 people but only have like 1 big bowl to hold food . But the house was very nice with a beautiful view. Was hard to get to beach because you have to climb over a bunch of drift wood and large...

'The home is perfect for a couple or two. It’s well stocked with appliances. The location is great and Sandy was very accommodating. Would highly recommend for anyone coming to the area.'

'The pictures don’t do this house justice. It was a great house with plenty of room and a great layout. Super close to the Jedediah Redwoods. About 30-40 minutes away from Brookings Oregon, and a lot of amazing beach hikes. Beds were all comfortable and had a great laundry room and kitchen.'

'Terrific location, very quiet, at the end of a small street. Dave and Debbie were always super responsive with any questions we had. Beds were comfortable; the sheets were super soft and there were plenty of light, cotton blankets, for cool nights (with the window open). The layout of the house is excellent - a terrific use of space and 4 adults/children would be very comfortable there. The master bedroom is upstairs and in a "loft", overlooking the living room, so privacy would be minimal...

'Place was well organized, I have a group of friends and we do traveling remote work, convenient to hiking, close to the beach, and everything was as advertised. The trampoline was a hit with the group and 10 of us were comfortable in the house throughout the stay. Furnishing was nice and adequate and in like-new condition. The yard was very well cared for and we got to catch everything in bloom in the spring, spectacular!'

'We found it to be a perfect location. It had a wonderful view of the ocean. There was quick access to the beach, great seafood and shopping just a quick drive north to Brookings and just a short drive south to the Redwoods, Crescent city and the aquarium.'

'Everything was as described. We liked the area. The bathroom was very clean and the home in general. It's a small house, perfect for us. There are no sound barriers, so beware lol. It is walking distance to stores and restaurants.'

'My favorite part was definitely the location where I could see sunset from dining table and walk across the street to the beach. Nice big garage to park vehicle too, as well as driveway parking. Nice little sitting area out front. Older home with darker bedrooms, but just sleeping there anyway. Too many great things to do outdoors! Didn’t cook much, but kitchen seemed well supplied.'

'The cabin description says you will have the entire cabin to yourself but this is extremely inaccurate. Another couple was in a different bedroom and we could hear thim arguing. The property owners live downstairs and we're there the entire time. The was a very strong unpleasant odor and there were cobwebs on the skylights and flies were stuck in them.The bed linens were very old, worn and it felt like we were in someone else's bed. The surrounding were beautiful and the area is away from city...

'We really enjoyed Sylvia and Larry's cabin located at the scenic North Fork of the Smith River. The cabin was very comfortable and relaxing. The shaded babbling brook with chairs and a hammock were great spots to rest or read next to the cabin. The owners have a house on the property (a private in-holding within the Smith River National Recreation Area) but we still felt like we had a lot of privacy. They were friendly and helpful hosts.
