Geniet van het uitzicht op de golven die op het strand afwassen of het witte water dat over de rotsen aan de kust spoelt. Kijk naar otters, walvissen, zeemeeuwen, pelikanen, vissersboten en af ​​en toe een surfer.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The thing we liked best is the view, which is fantastic (unless the fog rolls in). As advertised it's a couple miles from town. The complex is adjacent to the Samuel Boardman scenic corridor, which is probably the most beautiful coastal stretch anywhere. You can even hike right from the condo! The furnishings were nice and the bed comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked, and the appliances were all good. The only snag we encountered was that the check-in instructions included an obsolete gate code (the correct code is in the Access Information section).

We had a truly wonderful stay at this 2-bedroom condo in Brookings, Oregon. Everything about this place was perfect and absolutely deserving of 5 stars.The view is breathtaking – waking up to the sound of the ocean and watching the sun set from the balcony each night was unforgettable. The condo itself is beautifully maintained, spotless, and fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. The kitchen had all the essentials and more, which made it easy to enjoy meals at home.The location couldn’t be better – close to the beach, walking trails, restaurants, and shops, yet still peaceful and private. The beds were very comfortable, and both bedrooms offered plenty of space and storage. The amenities – from the high-speed Wi-Fi and modern appliances – made the stay feel luxurious.Communication with the host was excellent from start to finish. They were responsive, helpful, and made check-in a breeze.If you're looking for a quiet, scenic, and relaxing coastal escape, this condo is the perfect choice. We’ll definitely be back!

June 2025 Whale Watcher Condo

We had a lovely, two-night stay at the Whale Watcher Condo. The location was convenient and easy to find. It was outside of town, but close enough to get to stores and restaurants. It was an easy commute to the Redwoods! The view from the third floor was AMAZING! It was quiet, clean and had everything we needed. We loved having beach access and also being able to sit on the balcony at night to listen to the waves and watch the stars come out. We hope to come back someday.

Quiet and remote with amazing ocean views - yet only a few miles from Brookings

Roomy and comfortable condo with an absolutely amazing view of Rainbow Rock beach. The place was quiet and felt kind of remote even though in reality you were only a few minutes' drive into Brookings and all the stores and restaurants. The only downside was the decor is a bit dated. Everything is clean and well kept, but the decor, bathrooms and kitchen appliances could all do with an update.

Thank you for sharing your piece of heaven! We absolutely loved the private walk to the beach at low tide—especially discovering the cave and spotting starfish. It was such a peaceful and special experience. The condo was well stocked.For future guests, here are a few of our favorite spots and recommendations:•Breakfast: We went to Mattie’s Pancake House every morning. Highly recommend!•Dinner & Drinks: We had drinks at Wicked Pig—great atmosphere—while waiting for our table at Pacific Sushi and Grill. The sushi and grill dinner there did not disappoint.•Fine Dining: Black Trumpet Bistro is a must. The lobster was to die for.•Steak Lovers: Warriors Bar and Grill at Elk Valley Casino served up an excellent steak dinner, and we enjoyed watching the elk nearby.•Skip This One: Catalyst Seafood didn’t live up to the hype—food quality didn’t match the prices.Nature & Adventure Highlights:•The Samuel H. Boardman State Scenic Corridor was breathtaking. If you’re adventurous, start your trip with the Natural Bridges Viewpoint—I would have hiked it if I were 20 years younger!•Don’t miss the Secret Beach (pulls up on google maps), Harris Beach State Park, and Whaleshead Beach.•Chetco Point Park is an absolute 5-star spot.•We also visited Trees of Mystery for about 2.5 hours—such a fun and memorable stop and Redwood National and State Parks (a must see).Hope this info helps your next guests plan an amazing stay. Our family loved this property. The views are unbeatable. Our kids loved exploring the beach at low tide. It is clean and comfortable. Well-equipped.
