'Such a wonderful place! Private, special property with amazing staff, excellent and affordable food, delicious drinks- right on the beach! A full buffet breakfast is included with homemade bread - made at the hotel- inlet station and fresh local fruits. A nice cool pool and gardens with fruit trees, that encourage Costa Rican Wildlife (howler monkeys!) to live. My husband and I had a wonderful time staying at Capitan Suiza with an easy walk into Tamarindo to visit other restaurants, a fun night...

'Its a loveysetup😎 Super nice guys at dezk. Helpful. Lovely spot, quiet but can walk down beach or road to bars and restaurants. Downside is the no screens! And plenty ants and mosquitos. Nothing scree s wouldnt take are of. And ants everywhdre. Just put slme amdro around and tbdyd be gone too. Nice bunks in dorm but you couldd not open the windos for view because of no screens. Air conditioni g lovely. Breakfast nice! '

'Casa Mapache is a lovely place managed by lovely people. The spacious, clean room had a king size bed and two twin beds, which was perfect for our family of four with two "tween" boys who don't want to share a bed if they don't have to! The A/C and ceiling fan kept us plenty cool. The bathroom was huge, with two showers! -- what a nice feature. There was plenty of hot water and good water pressure Our favorite part was the pool! 'Super vriendelijke ontvangst met sapje en persoonlijke begeleiding naar de kamer. Het eten is erg goed en `s avonds komen rondom het zwembad de wasbeertjes water drinken en rondscharrelen. Rustig park, af en toe bruiloft op het strand. '

'The pool was beautiful and refreshing, The Flores is so centrally located to all the bars and restaurants in Tamarindo we walked everywhere we wanted to go. We enjoyed Chippie the hotel cats company as well. '

'We only stayed for one night but it was perfect. Maggie checked us in and she was very kind & did a through job of showing us the place and amenities and was easy to get in touch with to communicate. She had a great sense of humor & was very patient and even carried my suitcase from my car to my room. This place was very clean and looks exactly like the pictures. The lights at night around the pool are very beautiful. It is so convenient how walking distance close it is to all the shops and food...

'We had the room. We could see and hear the ocean from our room, which was peaceful and beautiful. The hotel didn't have a pool but the ocean was 20 steps away. The staff were genuinely friendly and always willing to help. The AC worked very well. The bathroom was tiny but functional. It was definitely my favorite hotel during my trip. '
