'Such a wonderful place! Private, special property with amazing staff, excellent and affordable food, delicious drinks- right on the beach! A full buffet breakfast is included with homemade bread - made at the hotel- inlet station and fresh local fruits. A nice cool pool and gardens with fruit trees, that encourage Costa Rican Wildlife (howler monkeys!) to live. My husband and I had a wonderful time staying at Capitan Suiza with an easy walk into Tamarindo to visit other restaurants, a fun night...

'A little oasis! Gorgeous garden with a pool. The staff is superkind! Special thank you to Nancy, Mario and Endy! The complimentary dinner is sometimes great, sometimes mediocre but breakfast is always terrific. The room was spacious and had a nice balcony. The beach is frequented by locals and tourists alike and a great place for surfing from beginners upward. The hotel's beach area is very nice with a small pool. Only minus is the costs of tours and activities. Tamarindo has something to offer...

'The hammocks were so nice and relaxing. There was even monkeys and parrots in the yard. The beach was magnificent and we really had a great time. I can’t say enough nice things. Ben was such a great host. We will be back!'

'Stayed here with a group of 5. There was plenty of room for us in the house, it didn't feel cramped. The property was nice and secure and the hammocks were great to lounge in. We all felt like the walk to the beach was fine and would consider it the definition of walking distance. Would highly recommend this place for a group looking for an authentic Tico experience.'
