'An absolutely comfortable home with a beautiful "mountain cabin feel" and having an excellent layout so everyone has their own space. Large bedrooms, great kitchen, perfect dining room and a drive big enough for our cars. We so loved out the living room was "warm and comfortable and the dining room felt like it was out of a movie set". Plus, it is a brief easy walk to the shops and restaurants of Basalt.'

Cozy with soft couch, great bedding, soft pillows and comfortable mattresses. Only a few things we didn’t love: There was a septic like odor downstairs in bedroom area. Home is on main road with constant traffic. Not bad when sleeping with doors and windows closed but loud if open or big trucks go by. The bathrooms could use a few...

'We made a very last-minute booking (day before arrival) to visit this property for a couple of days over spring break. We had a pleasant stay, and really enjoyed the property. My wife grew up a few hundred yards from this property, down near the river. We had a great time reminiscing with her, and listening to stories. The house has an incredible view of Sopris and Carbondale. The house was equipped with everything we expected. We would certainly visit again if we're in the Carbondale area.'

Little tricks to using things like holding door tight for it to lock, showers needed special touch to have best water pressure. Live plants made it feel like home. Lot's of board games in the cabinets for family game nights. Beds were comfortable. Neighbors friendly.'
