'We loved our stay at Meruorah. This is by far the best option if you want to stay near the harbour. Very convenient before or after your boattrip to Komodo etc. You could even start your trip next to the hotel! As easy as that!
Try to book the seaview rooms, those are stunning.. i tried rooms on both sides… for sure the ones with seaview were the best. I slept with the doors open and closed. Even though I am a light sleeper… did not hear noices from outside, wich keep me awake… at all.

'Prachtig nieuw hotel. Voor 1 nacht verbleven. De locatie staat alleen verkeerd aangegeven. Het zit niet in de hoofdstraat maar 15minuten van het centrum. De locatie die wordt aangegeven is van een ander flamingo hotel. Ze horen wel bij elkaar. Service was netjes, ze brachten ons met busje van hotel naar het juiste hotel. We kregen de grotere 2 persoonskamer zodat we met 2 kids makkelijk op de kamer konden verblijven. Heel mooi uitzicht vanaf balkon. Zwembad was alleen niet zo helder.'

'This is an amazing private resort. Location is amazing, staff so friendly and helpful. We had a great day trip to Komodo, to see the Komodo dragons and also swim with manta rays and turtles. Amazing snorkelling right by the resort at the jetty as well. '

The other day I slept with the terrace doors open… that day, I only hear noices around 6 AM, for me personally, no big deal!
About the room with a hillview, which was quiet near to the mosque… with the terrace doors completely shut… I did not hear the early morning prayers at all!!
Conclussion: rooms are soundproof!
Everything on walkable distance… many restaurants/eateries/fish market… you name it…
Staff very friendly and willing to make your stay as comfy as pissible…
Breakfast was goid, enough choices, both for western as local food!
