We missed the personal touch we had experienced at other locations. Breakfast was mostly self help but the cooked breakfast was requested and served. A short drive to pub restaurants is better than walking to them. Good location for trips to the islands or cliffs.'

"The Snug gives you exactly what it advertises: a bed, a shower and a toilet. That's all. But I didn't need more because in a town like Galway, I was out by 8:30 and back by midnight. The location is absolutely where you want to be, right on Quay Street where a lot of great pubs are, but you can be in the Claddagh and by Galway bay within minutes as well (to spot some seals!). The staff was great too. The only complaint I can utter was that fire alarm going off twice in the first night because some idiot smoked in his room, it took quite long before it was taken care of. Besides that, fantastic week, fantastic stay. "

Zeer vriendelijk personeel. Guesthouse ligt op ongeveer 30 minuten lopen van het centrum van Gallway.
Er is een bushalte voor het hotel.
Taxi, gratis te boeken vanuit het hostel, kost ongeveer 13 euro.
Zee, met boulevard is, om de hoek.
Leuke gemeenschappelijke ruimte en het ontbijt is heerlijk.

"Een prima hotel op een centrale locatie in de stad. Vlak naast het trein- en busstation. Met een vriendelijke receptie.Grote schone kamers prachtige bar en en eetgelegenheid, met uitgebreid ontbijt. Miste wel bij het ontbijt een superviser die structuur gaf aan het bedienend personeel"
"Hotelkamer van binnen mooi, maar absoluut geen uitzicht. Ramen geblindeerd en als je deze open doet keken we recht uit op een overvolle binnenplaats met dakventilatoren. We zaten helemaal achterin, met een hele lange gang. Iedere dag lag er ook rotzooi in de gang( borden,bestek,glazen en schoonmaakspullen). Het zag er in de gangen onverzorgd uit. Tevens als er buren de deuren dichtdeden ging dit altijd hard, zat extra haakje in de deur waardoor je deze niet zacht dichtkreeg. Erg vervelend voor je nachtrust.
Bar was de hele week gesloten, vervelend want in de avond kon je daar niet van genieten. Spa zat ook bijna dagelijks vol, heel jammer. Voor ons teveel betaald voor wat we kregen. Gaan hier niet meer terug."
