'While the hotel may be a little past its prime, our stay there was quite comfortable. The room and bed were large and comfortable and the staff were pleasant and helpful. The location was a bit off a main road so nice and quiet at all times and and easy walk downhill to the beach. Plenty of restaurants, bars and convenient stores in easy walking distance. Our first time in Ao Nang and we are officially big fans and will return next time we are in Thailand.'

'Lovely, affordable place to stay, particularly if you're looking for best comfort for value. Not a fancy high-end resort, but rooms are very comfortable, clean and well-designed (we were in the Grand Deluxe Bungalow), and staff are friendly and attentive. Bonus for the two cute resort puppies! '

'Aardige mensen, maar er zaten termieten oid in mijn kamer. Ik werd gek van het geluid, de eerste dag dacht ik dat het regende. Verder prima verblijf, maar ik ben wel eerder weggegaan. Dit had eerlijk gezegd ook te maken met Railay zelf, wat zo toeristisch is, dat je je er eigenlijk niet meer kunt ontspannen.'

'I had to book this place last minute & I’m so glad I did. Had the cutest decor! The smoking area was very cute and convenient with a beautiful view from the top floor, easily accessible right by all of the activities/ shopping center in phi phi. I would definitely stay again. 10/10 service. '

'Het was een prachtig hotel. Aardige medewerkers. Werder erg goed geholpen en de bedden waren comfortabel. Niks te klagen dus.'

'Kamer ziet er erg verouderd uit. Op bed ligt een strandlaken dat als deken dient. Maar goed, wat verwacht je voor die prijs.'

'We’ve had a good stay at the Uphill cottage hotel. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, helpt with our luggage all the way up to our room. And also down again when we checked out👍Every day they gave us clean towels and water. The view was very nice untop, you could see the see from two sides. I would recommend this hotel, however, you have to be fit to climb the stairs to your room!'

'This hotel is beyond 5 stars. The receptionist Katie is beyond helpful and friendly. She accomodates everything that I asks without any hesitation. The room is modern, beautiful and clean. The location is excellent, only 2 mins walk from the pier. The welcome gift juice is provided upon arrival. Cannot express how much love I have for this hotel. Definitely will stay at this hotel if we come to Phi Phi again. '

'The property is located very close to restaurants shops and bars. Next to it the owner has a motorcycle rent and laundry, the check in lady was very polite. They allowed us to leave our luggage in their storage before check in and after check out time. The room has a fan and the shower it’s next to the toilet with enough space. It’s has a small fridge and a warm blanket which you don’t need. For the price this is a great option. '

'LET OP! Expedia toont foto's van de leuke bungalows op het strand, zelfs bij de "standaard kamer". Bij aankomst kom je er achter dat een standaard kamer niets meer is dan een oude kamer gelegen achter de bungalows. Expedia toont dus valse informatie, en als je dit bij Expedia meld komt er nergens response. De kamers zijn tijdens onze 4 nachten NOOIT schoongemaakt, geen aanvulling van de toiletbenodigdheden, de douches hangen op plekken in de badkamer wat het onmogelijk maakt om te douchen en...

'Place could be a bit more clean Some people do not clean after themselves The 4 bedroom dorm is small and the beds a bit noisy but what a wonderful spot! On the beach with a great swimming pool. I also met very cool people even if you need to socialize yourself. '
