' Very affordable and clean option for a short stay. Check in was pleasant and quick. They gave us cold bottles of water, which was very nice as it was extremely hot. Furniture is older, but it was comfortable. There is a nice swimming pool and spa tub outside. Breakfast is minimal and carb heavy, but if you’re ok with a bagel and fruit, it’s perfect. They have pancake machines as well, only protein was hard boiled eggs. We have stayed 2x after a hard day at CP and will stay again when we visit...

'My boyfriend and I decided to go on an impromptu trip to Cedar Point, and wanted a cheap place to stay. Avalon Inn is really good for the price and was just what we needed. It's only a couple miles from the park, which is really nice as well. Highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a cheap place to stay while visiting Cedar Point.'

'Upon reading some of the negative reviews of this hotel I was little sceptical, however, when we arrived I was very pleasantly pleased. The facility was clean and the staff was very welcoming. The exterior was just a tad outdated but was certainly clean and taken care of. 10/10 would definitely recommend and will be back to stay again. Very convenient for the Jet express and just a short drive to cedar point. Keep up the good work.'

Ondanks aankondiging was van een ontbijt geen sprake (alleen diverse dranken bij de receptie).
