'Er werd verbouwd voor ons appartement. Dit was niet gemeld van te voren. We mochten echter gebruik maken van de twee andere zwembaden van het El Faro hotel en dat was super opgelost. Al het personeel is super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. We hebben daardoor echt genoten van ons verblijf. '

'Great manager, she is kind, knowledgeable, funny, and easy to reach. The place was clean and good location. Great for those on a budget not needing every amenity. If driving, back into parking lot. Grill currently not available due to building of an outside sitting area. Not sure you can walk to marina in 20 minutes, nor would I given the hill, but you definitely cannot walk to the park. Don’t think this error in landmarks is the fault of Tico Tico though, but the reason for my 3 stars on...

'My family and I stayed here for 6 nights and had the most amazing time! The property is absolutely gorgeous, peaceful, and just the right amount of isolation in the mountains. 'This property has amazing potential! I was literally the only guest there and not notified that they were about to start a long-needed renovation. Still, I was treated with 5-star hospitality. Luciane made me a wonderful breakfast and there was a voucher for use at the lovely restaurant, El Arado, a short walk up the road. Large, clean pool. The rooms are organized into duplex cabanas on a hillside so fair warning to guests with mobility issues. Can’t wait to see what they do with the place! '

'It was so much nicer here than i first though it would be. A lot of toilets and showers , fans in the room and lockers. Just a few staircases and you were at the bus stop and the supermarket. 'Everything was good. One feedback - it wasn’t easy to find the hotel at night as that’s when we reached. They should keep a clear board with more lights on the name of the place. Off street Parking was bit problematic but host was very nice and courteous. Helped with the parking. Room was very clean and had all amenities.'
