'The hotel is facing probably one of the busiest streets on the island (hence the loud noise, also there smell of the sewer), and the other side faces the parking lot. The pool is small and separated by a few trees from the noisy road.
The walk to the beach is somewhat challenging because the path is very narrow. Two people can’t really pass each other, one has to step aside, and carrying chairs makes it more difficult. It’s about a 5 to 6 minute walk and it takes a bit of effort. The beach...

'Usually when you walk into a vacation rental, you find that it is smaller, older, and less attractive than the photos made it appear, but the reverse was true in this case. We were so impressed with Governors Village! This place was perfect for 4 couples since everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom. 'The staff is amazing! They are all very kind and accommodating. The rooms are nice with a great view. The food is delicious. There is only 1 restaurant and they have a different theme each night for dinner. Lunch is served at the bar outside and it's very windy so that doesn't work very well. They don't have much to do at the resort and really push the excursions. The good news is that there was never a fight for the pool or beach chairs. '

'Loved the private location - you Defs need a ca if you are goin to stay at this hotel. But it was well worth it. We loved our mornings and evenings down by the water. Happy hours up at Nova and daytimes at 7 mile beach. '

'Overall, a great place to stay for a few nights. Sadly, one end of the beach receives little afternoon sunshine due to the proximity of the higher buildings and another building is being built. The new build makes the property layout feel almost stuffy with one pool now surrounded by buildings. '
