'Was here for a week. Mostly it is a bus tour/start of hiking hotel, but I was there for family reasons so maybe experience differently. Staff and service are amazing. John the driver and Dorothy stand out. Very clean and accommodating in terms of the infrastructure. Great (unheated) pool and lovely bar. I really enjoyed the food. Breakfast (included) was awesome. It is not quiet because of the roads, so if that is an issue stay elsewhere, but overall I really enjoyed my stay at Panama Gardens....

'This is a hidden gem and I highly recommend Shose if you are in the Moshi area. Starting with the warm welcome from Benson at the front desk to the wonderful service and great recommendations for dinner from our waiter Ismail, we were very pleased with choosing Shose Farmhouse! We were 2 couples and all agreed that the rooms and bathrooms were clean and spacious and the bed super comfortable! 'I really enjoyed spending time at this hotel. The staff are very welcoming and wonderful people to be around. 'This is probably the nicest hotel in central Moshi for Europeans on their first trip to the region. You have to remember that this is Africa and things don't always work but on balance this is a good safe place to stay. Once lesson for us was we were pretty much the only Europeans in the town, trekkers and safari people tend to stay outside, so be prepared, this is a busy African town not a tourist place'
