'The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. It's a slightly older place and there were a few worn spots but that's what you might expect. It was exactly what we expected and it was very quiet which was perfect! We had a great stay!!!'

'Terrific little historic hotel with a lot of vintage charm. Right downtown -- walking distance to the river, nearby casinos, and (in our case) the Mudbug Madness Festival. The staff was particularly warm and inviting -- offering terrific local advise and they went out of their way to make us feel welcome. This place should be on your radar screen when visiting Shreveport!'

'The hotel is a bit outdated. But other wise a nice hotel. The only thing that i have to say is that we came in a room after a dog and the floor had poop in the corner. We let the hotel staff know and they took care of it. We will come back in the future'

'The house, built 1870, would be a dream for children: candy, cookies, chocolate, muffins, candybars e v e r y w h e r e !! Inside it has an extensive collection of all kind of odds and ends, which makes the house so cozy! We stayed in the governer's room, a big room with a comfortable king bed. You must not count on (daily) cleaning and making the bed, because both jobs won't happen. That was a bit disappointing, because we stayed for four nights and had expected that to happen. The room...
