'The concierge, Zack, tops off the stay, and makes guests feel special. It is so important to get good advice for a city and you will be very impressed with the service you receive from Zack, just like you would receive at a fine five star hotel. The property is lovely, the pool can use a little updating, however, our stay was early in the season, so I’m sure improvements were coming. '

'Of course the building is old but in pretty good shape!! You can just feel the history and image what it was like many many years ago! Great food and the Bartenders were the best!!! My wife and I will be back!!!'

'We recently stayed at Hilton GI for a soccer tournament and the staff was so accommodating and the facility was very clean. Breakfast was great, pool was fun for soccer team (don’t plan to relax there) and gym facilities were nice. The bar area was also stocked with a lot of options. I would definitely stay there again if given the opportunity '

Amenities were VERY limited, and when some yahoo rode by oou patio on some kind of ATV for an unexplainable reason at 8AM the morning after we arrived- that woke us up. 'Popcorn and a movie' the following night was equally disappointing. Yes, the movie played, but no popcorn offered, and the latte machine near that area didn't work. Staff was friendly and as accomodating as they could be, but this place is still a work in progress.'

'This is a very quaint and comfortable little motel. If you like nostalgia, this is the place for you. It is a throwback to the old style motels. The room was clean and the property was well maintained and quiet. Easy to walk to the shops, park and restaurants in downtown Blowing Rock. The only complaint, if you can call it a complaint, is the pillows are flat. We would definitely return for another stay!'

'Overall I'm glad we picked this hotel. The staff at the hotel were super nice! The floor in our room was a bit squeaky, but we barely heard anything from the floor above us. The pool was a very comfortable temperature and the sauna felt good. They had a heavy snow early on the day we checked in, so we were glad to have a lower level to park in!'
