'Penmorvah Manor Hotel is gevestigd op een eigen landgoed, wat heel erg mooi was. Parkeren was geen probleem er waren ruim voldoende plekken. Kamer was netjes en schoon. Personnel was vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ontbijt was lekker. Het Penmorvah Manor Hotel is in de traditioneel Engelse stijl qua decor die past bij een Manor huis. Wij hebben genoten van ons verblijf.'

'This place is not what it seems, I will list issues in particular order:
• mattress was an old worn out double and on top were two king size mattress toppers.
• No TV.
• No WiFi ( paid for 3 days myself), 4 hours after checking in a WiFi password was posted through letterbox.
• No parking on drive available until second day.
• Window locks broken.
• No wardrobe just three coat hangers hanging in back of door to bathroom . (Living out of suitcase for three days).
• Cobwebs everywhere.
• Host let...

'We were staying at this hotel on a work trip absolutely beautiful and quaint hotel in the Bay of Coverack. Very picturesque little town, our rooms had sea views which made the stay even better.
The staff and people of this place were so nice and friendly can't say enough about them. Extremely warm and welcoming. Will be going back again in the future.
The food was excellent as good as any London restaurant.'

'Just returned from a 7 night stay at Savoy view apartment
The accommodation was excellent, everything needed for the stay was provided and the rooms were tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean.
We arrived early after a 6 hour drive and expected we’d have to wait around a few hours until check in but we were surprised to notice that the key had been made available a lot earlier which was lovely.
The property is in an ideal location for exploring the beaches and coves on the Lizard peninsula....

'Ugh, what a disaster! So, I booked this place for two nights, right? Get there, and the main door to the key lockbox is jammed shut. Called the host like fifteen times, and nada—no answer. Had to scramble to find another place 'cause my girlfriend's pregnant, and we couldn't just hang around. To top it off, they wouldn't give me a refund! Had to fight it through my bank. Seriously, avoid this place like the plague. No one answers, and it feels like a total scam.

'Delightfully peaceful spot, spectacular views from the garden. Very comfortable space, well organised, immaculately clean, and a great mattress for my bad back! 10 mins walk through a wood to the beach. Another time I'd leave the car hire, bring my ebike instead, and walk to the local village for provisions.'

16. Pugwash Cottage
Pugwash CottageFalmouth
7.0 van 10, Goed, (2 beoordelingen)
'Pugwash Cottage is conveniently located on a holiday village just outside of Falmouth. The property is a good configuration but let down by a couple of areas such as the microwave that is very rusted and the floor of the bathroom that requires attention. The bedding and towels however, were excellent. The village has a convenient store where you can pick up essentials and a bar/resaurant.'

'Nice cottage with a private terrace, on a camping site between Lizard and Helston.
Overall, it could have been a bit cleaner, but it fits in with staying in the countryside.
Hot water is working properly and there's even a fire place for cold evenings.
The bed is superb and has fine quality bedding. WiFi is just working outside.
Owners are very friendly and offering help where needed.
The location is central on the peninsula, from here you can make beautiful walks to the coves through...

'3rd time staying here - love the house and position is great to explore the lizard. Damp was really bad this year - walls were wet and mouldy in places and kitchen cupboards very musty - cleaners were great coming out and cleaning up some of the mould. Probably damp build up if it had been shut up for a while. But we always enjoy our stay - beds comfy and loads of room for our family and little dog '
