'My wife and I stayed at the Westwind Inn this past weekend and were disappointed by both the value and customer service.
When we arrived, the parking lot was nearly empty. We learned only 3 of the Inn's 32 rooms were occupied Friday night. Due to issues with the Inn's website, I had to book through Expedia and was assigned a woods-facing room. Given how empty the property was, I asked about moving to a lake-view room. 'It was unbearably hot in the room. Screen on sliding door was broken so we couldn't leave the door open. Only one of three windows had a screen. Thermostat was set to off but one of the electric heaters was blasting heat. It was a very uncomfortably hot night with only one window open. Air conditioner was not installed.

The bed was...

'DO NOT BOOK. This is a scam. Non refundable and the place is closed permanently. The ‘host’ has disconnected numbers. Absolutely ruined weekend trip that cost a fortune that wasn’t reimbursed and we travelled hours from home. Expedia said they would find us other accommodations but nothing was available and we were on the hook for the bill. Terrible terrible terrible'
