'The staff at Hydra hotel were incredibly friendly and helpful. I was in room 201 with spectacular corner views of the port and was right next to the breakfast area with its own outdoor area. Unless you are carrying a light weight bag, just plan on hiring the donkey transportation to the hotel. I carried my heavy bad myself, having not understood how many steps there actually were and would not recommend it! 'Het hotel ligt aan zee en heeft gratis ligbedden. Kamer was krap voor 3 personen. Maar schoon en netjes. Ontbijt werd voor je opgeschept. Dit ging niet altijd soepel. Heerlijke sinaasappelsap, heerlijk zwembad en met badmeester. En het eten bij het zwembad was goed. We wilden extra boeken, maar het hotel was vol. '

'The hotel was awesome, front desk was just pathetic asked questions in regards to ferries and they said IDK I speak and understand Greek too. I heard they will be renovating and re naming the hotel and they are making another one down the road. Hope they put better pp at the front desk. 'Beautiful boutique hotel in Hydra Town. Just blocks from the ferry docks. Small property, only a few rooms, excellent housekeeping. And a homemade breakfast that was huge, varied tremendously from day to day, multiple dishes, and NOT a buffet. From pastries to fruit, eggs, coffee, custard…so glad we opted to eat there instead of going to a restaurant. Fantastic place, would go back in a heartbeat. '
