'The thermal pools were not maintained well at all, and I felt like they were pretty dirty with dead leaves on them and it seemed like they were not very clean. The property also seemed extremely outdated for the amount they charged us. I honestly don’t think it was worth it specially given the room in the washrooms it was giving hotel from the 1970s.'

'Perfect location if you’re bouncing around La Fortuna, the hotel is truly special. Massive breakfast spread, tons of different thermal pools right on property, and huge clean rooms. Can’t recommend this spot enough. Will absolutely stay again next time I’m in La Fortuna'

'If you wish to have a great view of the Arenal Volcano, this is the place. The rooms are pretty big and your kids can run around in the room at night. The rooms are not cheap, basically nothing is cheap in Costa Rica for that matter. No supermarket close by...so stock before you arrive. The rooms have a spa bath..again great for the kids. The have 2 false hot springs, one on the property and one at a 10 minute drive from the property next to Baldi Springs. They provide shuttle service for that...

'It's very nice to be able to get to the hot pools kind of straight from your room. The room though, called a "deluxe suite" is a regular room with two small chairs. The bathroom actually is very spacious. The restaurant is mediocre at best. Service was fine. '
