'If you are staying in La Fortuna, I cannot imagine a better option. We used it as a home base for all the usual activities in the area. For meals, we could cook right there (the Super Rosvil market is a short walk away) or we could go out to eat - there's Mario's place on the next corner for easy food, or an easy walk to downtown for lots of other options). 'My stay was wonderful from check-in to check-out. The space was peaceful, comfortable, and had everything I needed. 'No one was around for check in. I had to wait around in the rain for 1 hour before a second couple showed up with a cellphone with a sim card. They were able to message the property through the app and got someone there within 20 minutes or so. They also tried to charge me twice.. If you stay here, make sure you have your receipt ready in case they try to charge you again. Also, it's a good idea to buy a sim card so you can contact them when you get there. It is NOT a manned office. '

'The location was amazing. Very safe and secure. The house was beautiful. The pool was awesome. We saw some beautiful birds in the yard. Be aware there is screen window that is not close able in the laundry area that connects to the main areas of the home. This makes it a bit hot in the main area, but bedrooms did have great AC and we left the doors open during day to cool off the main area so was not a problem. Few ants on the counter tops but this seems to be everywhere - just be aware to clean...
