Eder met us at their office downtown and guided us to the home, about 20-25 minutes from town. 'The property is beautiful, definitely surpassed our expectations! There were two couples in our party so we only used the two bedrooms with King beds, but there was plenty of room for another adult couple or a few young children. While the property does advertise space for 10 guests, personally, I think 6 adults would be ideal as seating inside and outside for more than 4-6 could be tight. The pool is so nice and peaceful. 'We wished we had stayed longer. This is a wonderful property, well maintained and the owners are close by. The back yard is beautifully landscaped and offers a full view of the volcano covered deck area and a small pool to cool off in. Beds are comfortable and the house offers everything you could need. La Fortuna is a hidden gem. I have been to CR over 40 times and never made it here. Great restaurants and activities and a wonderful place to relax when the day is over. Highly recomended.'

'The Ranch Villa Arenal is a gorgeous house and property. We felt at home and fell in love with Yadi the house keeper/cook and Joaquin the grounds keeper. Yadi cooked a delicious breakfast every day and Joaquin entertained us with tours of the working ranch. The Fortuna area offers many activities for all age groups. Our family had a fantastic time and highly recommend this property. Pura Vida.'

'This was such a nice stay. The home was great and very well built and stocked with all you need. it was so nice to sit outside, enjoy the pool and the lush surroundings. The care taker came and showed us the local sloth and we had a nice walk around the property. There are 2 other rentals but they are all very well separated. You opulent tell anyone else was around and each back yard:pool area was very private. We lived out time there.'

'Beautiful view that you can't get enough of! Overall we have very few complaints of the property. I would recommend you take the road around through Monterrey and La Fortuna versus up through the mountains. The two restaurants close by are amazing. Overall we loved our stay'

Could have used more kitchen items when cooking for a large group like measuring cups, measuring spoons, whisk, spatula, serving plates or bowls. Also a surprise on day one - the oven didn’t work. Also would have really appreciated being able to use the laundry machines that are on-site but not available for guests to use. Overall we had a wonderful stay!'
