'Cabañas del Rio was a wonderful place to stay in La Fortuna. We stayed in the family unit with three queen beds and a kitchen. It worked out great for our family of 6. 'As I say in the title this is a nice place and I will add it is a great value. The host asked us before we left if there was anything we would suggest to make our stay even better. We told Cristian there were a few minor things that would make this place even more appealing. First and foremost a microwave oven would be a huge upgrade. Being able to easily heat up leftovers from dinner the night before would be a game changer.Second suggestion was a dish drying rack. This makes keeping the units...

'If you are staying in La Fortuna, I cannot imagine a better option. We used it as a home base for all the usual activities in the area. For meals, we could cook right there (the Super Rosvil market is a short walk away) or we could go out to eat - there's Mario's place on the next corner for easy food, or an easy walk to downtown for lots of other options). 'We enjoyed staying in this cozy apartment right in the heart of Arenal. Everything was newly renovated and very clean. They even have filtered drinking water onsite. The property managers live nearby and were very helpful and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again!'
