'Rustic house on the country side with lots of nature around with birds, frogs and cackling chicken. 10 minutes away from La Fortuna. Lidiana is a lovely host and prepares delicious local food together with her husband.'

'The house worked well for our family of 5 (two adults and three teens). The outside space was terrific for reading, lounging, and playing cards at the end of our days out exploring. Ate our meals out, but the coffeemaker was way to use and the fridge was nice to hold our drinks and any take out containers. Location is a perfect jumping off point for all of the adventures La Fortuna has to offer!'

'This house is beautiful. It has the best views. El Castillo is such a cute town, with some of the best food at the shops down the street (and a very good bakery). The house is very close to the lake and Arenal volcano, and about a 30-40 minute drive to the city center where you can do a bunch of different tour activities. The views are incredible! 'A month living as Ticos in the Casa Amarilla - great people, beautiful location and reasonable price. We would recommend it for anyone looking for a long term rental in a quiet small town near La Fortuna. There are a multitude of entertainment activities in the area. We did not rent a car and found Uber and taxi transportation readily available. All the recommended staff were excellent. They were very kind, timely and helpful when minor problems occurred. 'We recently stayed 4 nights at Casa del Bosque. The house was clean, quiet, and comfortable with plenty of room for our family of five. The house is located in a quiet gated community with private back yard patio and 2 minute walk to the pool. Also walking distance to Restaurante Delicias Tablada which has excellent food at a great price. (Say hi to Sammy, one of the friendliest guys you will meet.). I would recommend this house and stay there again! We loved the place! '

'Everything about her stay was very good The house is large, the patio is covered so you can sit outside in the daily rain, and there is even a separate building with an upstairs outdoor bedroom. The host was great, very responsive recommended the best brewery maybe in Costa Rica! Great location for all area activities.. A few minor issues but I would absolutely recommend it.'
