'Family of 5 with 3 college age kids. This property was just as advertised. It is clean and simple but nice. Property has 2studio apartments and a rooftop terrace. No hammocks as in pics. The 3 kids took the downstairs floor with two beds and my husband and I took the second floor. No air conditioning but not needed with the ceiling fans and screened windows opened. 'Very good communication with the host Arnaldo. Easy check in with codes: no keys. The house was very clean. With four bedrooms the house was quite big but very comfortable for our family. The kitchen and furniture are a bit basic, but all new- seems to be recently built or renovated. For shops and restaurants it is a 15 minute drive through the hilly countryside, which was very green and lush when we were there in the rainy season.'

'This home was exactly what we needed, close to downtown La Fortuna yet away from the noise. The house has 2 bedrooms with doble beds and TV’s and one loft with 2 twin beds. The bathroom has hot/cold water and the host provides shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. The kitchen has a full size refrigerator, a cooktop as well as the basics you need to make meals if you choose to cook. The washer and dryer were very convenient. 'This 2 story rental villa has a great view of Volcan Arenal from the second story. It overlooks a farm with elephant grass used for grazing animals. The location is about 2 km south of the center of La Fortuna, so a car is necessary. It is close to several of the tour outfitters that do canyoneering and rafting. It is initially hard to see on your first visit (look for the Sapiens sign on Ruta 702) because the group of 3 houses are set 70 meters south of the road and accessed via a thin 1 lane...

'This beautiful unique house is in a wonderful country setting. I had my morning coffee on the gazebo while a horse watched me. The area restaurants were very good and either walkable or a short drive. We also enjoyed water activities on the nearby lake.'
