'Our first time in Pittsburgh. Came for a birthday trip for my husbands 40th birthday. It was the perfect location ,walkable to pnc park and great resturants and bars. Hotel was clean and inviting.The food in the hotel returants was delicious and the in hotel bar was perfect with a great selection.. Staff was helpful and friendly . Will definitely be back!'

'Goede ligging tov downtown en de meeste bezienswaardigheden. Goede kamer en ontbijt en mogelijkheid voor diner. Wel wat sporen van gebruik die je niet zou verwachten bij de DoubleTree. Houdt wel rekening met de prijs voor valetparking.'

'Nette buurt in de omgeving van vele voorzieningen zoals restaurants en mall's. Echter gehorige kamers. Wij hadden een kamer met defect toilet (zelf maar even gerepareerd). Wel schoon en netjes voorzien van kluis en koelkast, etc. Inclusief ontbijt van 6AM tot 10 AM. Wij kwamen om 9AM, maar toen was de helft al op en werd er al opgeruimd. Dat terwijl de zaal nog half vol was en er meerdere mensen kwamen. Oftewel, optijd gaan ontbijten!'

'We planned a weekend to visit the Penguins and Steelers and this hotel is perfectly suited downtown Pittsburgh, the stadiums are in walking distance. We ejoyed our stay.'

'Selected this property for its location and cool factor. It’s a renovated space with a very unique and cool design. However the layout is very weird when entering and leaving. Never got to experience the F&B amenities because they are not located on what would normally be the lobby floor. Overall great stay. '

'A beautiful gem! This historic mansion turned boutique hotel is adorable. The original stained glass and carved wood grand staircase are breath taking. Keep in mind this is a 19th Century home, so the floors are creaky and the walls are thin, but there aren't that many rooms so it's not super busy. My only negative comment would be the ability for the room to cool down. It was a little stuffy and in our room the vent really only cooled the sitting area and not where our bed was located. 'Our stay at the Kasa South Side was good. Not fantastic - but pretty good! Pls read to the end to get our full input... We had a bunch of issues that were pretty irritating (pull-out bed was not usable... it was ONLY springs and there were no sheets; thermostat was hard to figure out... it was missing the cover with instructions; the parking/entering building was confusing upon arrival & the parking lot was on the complete opposite end of the building from our Kasa; only one set of elevators...

'It was so wonderful I felt like staying at home. The community was beautiful. The atmosphere was great easy to go to any places in the city to go eat dance drink didn’t take long to get there just overall wonderful.'

'We loved the location and the parking was much better than many other areas in the city. Loved that it included parking since it can be expensive. Unit seems well taken care of and looked and smelled clean. Nice decor and stocked the bathroom with Native which my whole family loves. Large grassy park area across the street was nice. We will definitely look to stay here again. '
