'The location is awesome. The rooms are well designed and at a high quality standard (e.g. marble tiles in the bathroom. Bidet..) Bungalow with sea view - unbeatable. The location is not directly at the beach, but at an elevated location inside a forest area. So the view is incredible and super quiet. No street noise or smoke. Instead one can enjoy nature sound, birds, butterflies, some monekys climbing the trees and sometimes leguans and view at the sea the same time.The staff is very friendly....

'We verbleven in het laagseizoen, we kregen een upgrade naar de suite. Het verblijf was geweldig, heb er geen woorden voor. Elke maaltijd ons terrasje aan het zwembad met prachtig uitzicht (l). De service is fantastisch. Eten is goed. Keuze is wat beperkt, maar ze staan open voor alle aanpassingen die je verzoekt. Enige nadeel is dat het een beetje afgelegen ligt.'

'Thambilli House was just terrific, rooms, staff, open areas, pool and location ideal for a Galle Fort visit. This was our 3rd stay at The Fort and by far the best accommodation so far. Only surprise was that the room did not have a bar fridge, quite unusual from our perspective.'

'Fijn hotel, we kregen bij aankomst een upgrade naar een hogere verdieping waardoor we prachtig uitzicht hadden over de Oceaan. Het zwembad is heerlijk en heeft ook stoelen met een mooi uitzicht. Daarnaast hadden we zowel ontbijt als diner in het hotel en dit was erg lekker met voldoende keus (was a la carte en geen buffet). In de buurt liggen mooie strandjes en de stad Galle is goed bereikbaar. Zeker een aanrader dit hotel'
