'All the staff we met were extremely friendly and helpful. The spa area was very convenient and well maintained. We ate in the Pantry several times and the food was delicious. A variety of cocktails and mocktails were also on offer. The garden area is beautiful and has lots of available lawn games. Overall, the hotel provides a wonderfully relaxing experience.'

'Advantages: The room was clean, fresh, and stylish. The bathroom was elegant. Very good breakfast. Relatively central location. Comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Disadvantages: The room lacks a wardrobe(!). The room lacks a safety box. Many rooms are located on the ground floor with limited views. If you don't have a car and arrive by train, it's a 20-minute walk from the station along a country road. Note: Incredibly, they have installed a white plastic shower curtain in the very elegant...

'A Hidden Gem of a Hotel. Staff Are All very Friendly and made us Feel very Welcome. Food is First Class. Grounds are very well Manicured. Excellent base for Visiting Bristol, but you will need a Car as Hotel is off the Beaten track.'

'Our host Toni was wamr and friendly. The hotel is very well located. You can park there and it's a short and easy walk into the town centre. The hotel is very nicely furnished, with comfortable beds and a spacious bathroom. There was even some carrot cake in our room to welcome us! Excellent breakfast, too. We will definitely be coming back.'
