'Was without dount the worst hotel i have stayed in. They have very falsely advertised the property. Digital tv ..only terrestrial channels on a tv so old the colours do not work so a whole evening without television. Then the disgusting fact they say soundproof rooms !!! I was in the more expensive seaview room. The sea can be seen from 3/4 if a way down a street but the room is above the hotel pub. By 9.30pm no tv amd the ridiculous noise i took the matter up with expedia. The only staff...

'Lovely hotel in quiet location overlooking the estuary. Fab bathroom with large tub. Excellent view from my room. Lovely breakfast with great choice of food. It's a shame they don't do evening meals but there are plenty of options in Barmouth centre just 10 minutes walk away though you will have an uphill walk back. Really enjoyed my stay. '

'The chalet was clean and comfortable and in a lovely peaceful and picturesque location. However we did have a problem with the bathroom door as lock was lose and on occasions we couldn't get out of the bathroom or in if the door was properly closed. On stripping of the beds as requested by the cleaning company notes left in the chalet, my daughter was quite upset to discover a dodgy looking yellow stain on the mattress protector under the bottom sheet and also on the pillows.
