Prachtig hotel midden tussen distileerderijen
Erg mooi recent gerenoveerd hotel, mooie kamer, restaurant en bar. Het hotelpersoneel was erg gastvrij, vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Heerlijk gegeten en ook genoten van de verschillende whisky's in de bar. Ook het ontbijt was goed verzorgd.

This would be our second visit to the station. This time we opted for a suite. The hotel itself is stunning , quiet , beautifully decorated, and relaxing. Our suite was spacious and well decorated. The highlight of the stay, apart from the amazing food, is the staff. The three team members that looked after us were kind, polite and attentive. Georgia in particular was always cheery, and had a knack for being wherever you were when you wanted something. This hotel is perfect to destress and treat yourself.

The hotel was very clean although room was smaller than we expected. Food was amazing. The front desk was not very helpful in helping us get a taxi to a dinner reservation and we felt we were a bother. The hotel is beautiful but the service could be nicer.

Nice hotel situated in the middle of Whiskey country. The young lady behind reception was fantastic and very welcoming, always had a smile on her face. The room was a bit warm, although we should have put the electric fan on. The coffee machine was pretty hard to work.

Quaint comfort in the country
Charming small town hotel with friendly and personable staff. Whisky bar was fun and enjoyed the late night service. The building is old and showing its age but all goes into the overall charm and authenticity of the place.

Elegant hotel in beautiful Speyside!
What a perfectly charming boutique hotel! Ideally located in the heart of Speyside, we stayed for two nights and drove out to visit whiskey distilleries in the surrounding area. The room was deeply comfortable, with two easy chairs and a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was spacious, the hot water abundant. We really enjoyed the full Scottish breakfast and ate dinner there both nights. A really good kitchen. We can’t say enough about the staff who were pleasant and helpful, going out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Most travelers may not think of Rothes as their hub in this single malt whiskey region, but think again!

The property is very close distance to many whisky distilleries in the area. The selection of whiskies in the bar is incredible. The property is very clean and the staff is all very friendly.

This is a charming small hotel. Booked a deluxe king but the room has a queen bed!!! Just a comment - the rooms are small. Beautifully decorated but the room we had could lose the chair and table to make space for luggage.

A lovely hotel, friendly staff. Seems that costs are getting tight as the free water in room wasnt now there and the nice coffee machine in the rooms is now a kettle. Limited food selection and not changed since my last visit before xmas.

Amazing hotel in the middle of the Whiskey area.
Terrific hotel with an amazing bedroom and incredible whiskey bar. This is such a lovely place and would recommend anyone stays here. Food was terrific and staff very friendly. The whiskey bar has hundreds of bottles to try.

We had a lovely stay at The Station Hotel. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and helped us plan activities to do in the area. We would definitely stay again.

Lovely, well maintained hotel. Staff very friendly and effective. Food in the bar/restaurant was very well cooked and tasty to eat. Third time stay, and we’ll be back for another!

We stayed at the Station Hotel in Rothes for two nights over the weekend of 28th-30th August, 2020, in what was our first Post-Lockdown break. It was clear upon arrival, that the hotel took the health and wellbeing of it's guests and staff very seriously with a concise questionnaire and temperature checks before we were given access to our room. There were also numerous hand sanitising facilities throughout the hotel and the room had been thoroughly cleaned, sanitised and sealed prior to our arrival. All of this was very reassuring in the current climate and all guests/staff observed the instructions to wear face coverings in the Corridors and Reception areas. Our room was very well appointed with plenty of storage available, a great shower and in-room hot drinks facilities, everything that we needed really. It is clear that the restoration of the building and it's interior has been carried out to a very high standard and both the Restaurant & Bar areas were very plush and welcoming. We ate in the Restaurant on the second night of our stay and the food was extremely good as was the breakfast on the two mornings that we ate there with plenty of choice on the menu. I have to say that Ann(e) who served us breakfast on both mornings and dinner in the evening was absolutely wonderful. That said, all of the staff that we encountered were extremely professional and welcoming.

Very nice hotel indeed. Very well prepared for COVID with temperature check on arrival, time for extra cleaning and door entry sealed once cleaned and ready for occupation. Very comfortable room. Next to main road so a bit noisy overnight with window open due to traffic. Great breakfast. Lovely staff. A good base for exploring Speyside.

Our room was sealed when we arrived, to show it had been thoroughly cleaned and nobofy had entered since. Hand sanitiser at strategic points in the hotel. Clear signs and diners separated by decorative screens.

Nice enough rooms but more business than leisure
The hotel has been refurbished and the rooms were comfortable and of a good standard. The food was not so good, edible but we only ate there once and then went elsewhere. The location is a little disappointing, the next village down is much prettier and has better places to eat. There is a bus service but a car is really needed if you're staying here, which limits the whisky tastings. That said we managed to get a taxi home every night from Craigellachie. The hotel is right on a road where all the whisky trucks rumble past, didn't disturb our sleep but does ruin the tranquility somewhat. I'd say this was a good hotel for business travel and a reasonable hotel for holiday.

Cozy Hotel
The Station Hotel is a charming hotel. The check-in process was easy and quick and the staff was friendly. Our Room was clean, but it was a little small (King Bed). We really had to get creative with how we stored our luggage. The bed was comfortable. Only issue was we had a hard time balancing the room temperature. The radiator took a while to get going and once the room got to a good temp it took a long time for it to turn off, which meant the room got hotter. Same thing with the towel warming rack in the bathroom. These are relatively minor inconveniences, though. The hotel is right next to the main street going through town so if your room faces the road, just keep in mind you'll probably hear and feel most cars passing by. My wife and I are used to this since we live on a busy street in LA. The only other issue we had was that the Whiskey Bar, which was beautiful, was not staffed 100% of the time. So, it took a while to get drinks, and it felt like we were inconveniencing them by getting more drinks. Overall, though, we were happy with our stay and would recommend this place to friends and family.
