'Room was large, clean and the beds comfortable. Otherwise your average motel setting. Shower temperature fluctuates as other showers are used so you have to be careful especially as the hot water is very hot. The grounds are average and while you can walk right down to the sea, it's not an especially attractive piece of ocean. The same as you've seen driving the last 10 km or so. 'Very lovely old home. But as far as I could tell there was only one employee. Absolutely no one else to be seen anywhere. She checks you in, She is the only waitress there to serve you dinner. No one is anywhere to be found if you come down at 7 AM. I hope she doesn't also have to clean the rooms and remake the beds. She is very nice and I certainly hope she is being paid enough - because it looks like she has to do it all. Whoever makes the beds doesn't know how to make them because I had to...

'We had a lovely stay in room 7 with a sliding door we could open to look out over the beautiful garden and view of the water. Towels were plush, room was clean and cozy. Everyone on staff is very friendly and the grounds were kept immaculate. Coffee was very tasty and always on, breakfast was blueberry pancakes and they were top notch. We used the water toys, the beach was private and the water warm compared to other areas in Nova Scotia. I would highly recommend'
